I had a couple girlfriends over yesterday for a Christmas-y day of baking cookies and painting ornaments, so I decided to put together this Christmas snack & hot chocolate bar! This season, I’ve been leaning more towards the “classic” Christmas style rather than what I’ve gone with before, the more modern glam style. My style is changing, and I’m definitely into more rustic and natural pieces.
Cheers Garland c/o Marshalls
I found most of this stuff at Target, and then just added in some things I already had at home. I love this classic red & white table runner! It would obviously look super cute on a long table, but I like how I can use it for our new buffet table too.
I made three different “sections”: starting at the right is the mugs, plates, & napkins; in the middle is where you can make the hot chocolate or coffee; and on the left are the snacks.
I definitely have a thing for mugs, and have quite the collection. I’ve accumulated three more so far this Christmas season, and two of them are from Target. They seriously have the CUTEST Christmas mugs this year!!
“Oh Deer” Sign & Christmas Tree Chalkboard from Target One Spot
I had to add some greenery to this table to balance out all of the red! I love the natural look it gives.
For snaks, I put out some cinnamon pita chips, Cheez-Itz snack mix, and Ritz crackers with hummus. I didn’t put out any sweets because we would be having hot chocolate & cookies! And lots of cookie dough… ;)
I’ve always loved peppermint drinks, whether it’s in hot chocolate or mochas (my favorite holiday drink from Starbucks is the peppermint mocha!) so I put out some candy canes to stir in the hot chocolate. It was so yummy!
These poinsettias have been in this Oh Joy! for Target pitcher in my room for the past month and I love the color that it adds to my room!
I found this adorable Christmas tree chalkboard in the Target One Spot while on a last minute trip to Target yesterday! How cute is it?!
I’m also obsessed with this “Cheers” glitter garland I found at Marshalls. I’ll actually probably use it all year long, but I’m thinking of hosting a New Year’s Eve party, so keep an eye out for how I use it then!
